Team RGI had the privilege of participating in the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association’s Legislative Policy Forum in Washington D.C. last week.

At the conference, RGI attended seminars on upcoming legislation affecting the industry, communications, membership and safety committee meetings, environmental and sustainability roundtables and more.

On Monday at NSSGA’s Annual Community Relations Awards Luncheon, our Reostone, Jefferson County and Caryville locations were awarded GOLD at the NSSGA Legislative & Policy Form Awards luncheon, with our Reostone location receiving the highest honor within the category, the Platinum award.

These stellar accomplishments would not be possible without the ongoing effort from our teams in the field. Their diligence and commitment to their work as well as their communities continue to allow RGI to be a front-runner in the aggregates industry as well as a committed partner to our neighbors.

To conclude the conference, RGI met with federal representatives from across the nation to advocate for the aggregates industry, trades education and more.
