Some notable local projects include Highways 157, 133, 101, 24 and Memorial Parkway in Huntsville. We’ve also had a hand in the construction of the Athens High School, Columbus Air Force Base, Wilson Dam, and the TVA Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant in Athens.

Our team members have volunteered at the L.E. Willson Elementary School, Lacey’s Spring School, Tanner Elementary and High Schools, the Restoration Ranch, and have sponsored popular local events such as the Tanner Tractor Pull.

Safety and community engagement are at the core of everything we do. Our operations in Georgia have earned a number of awards, including the National Stone Sand and Gravel Association’s Environmental Excellence and Community Relations awards, the Sterling Safety Award, and a Limestone County School Board Commendation.

In March 2021, RGI purchased the aggregate, asphalt and construction assets of Reed Contracting Services, a leading provider of mass excavating, grading, underground utilities, asphalt paving and trucking services in Huntsville.

Combining the scope and quality of both companies, RGI now provides seamless, start-to-finish construction and materials services to the Greater Huntsville market. We operate five asphalt plants in the area (Madison, Huntsville, Tanner, Hollywood and Lacey’s Spring), and our construction crews (asphalt, site development, utilities, concrete) are active across the area preparing our communities for growth.
